Runway Concepts

Two concept spots for Runway: one prompt turns a football into a bowling ball and a toy car into a rally car.

Unofficial concept. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Runway.

Change the Game

A football sits on a floodlit pitch. The shot drops into Runway’s Edit Studio, one line goes into the prompt — make it a bowling ball in a bowling alley — the video generates, and the same camera move now rolls a black bowling ball down a polished lane into the pins. Strike, and the line: Change the game.

Think Bigger

The second spot starts smaller: a toy car on a kitchen table. Same editor, same kind of prompt — make it a rally car on a desert ridge — and the toy becomes a full-size rally car jumping a ridge, drifting through dust and running off down a canyon road. Think bigger.

Previz in Cinema 4D

The car shot was blocked first as a low-poly previz in Cinema 4D: the table, the jump off the edge into the desert, the drift and the drone pull-away. I used my own Camera Director plugin to art-direct the drone shot — waypoints for the flight, so the camera rises and falls away from the car on a path I could keep adjusting until the move felt right. The previz then drove the AI generation, so the final keeps the same framing and timing.

Final against previz

The finished shot on the left, the Cinema 4D previz on the right, running in sync.

How they were made

Previz in Cinema 4D, with Camera Director for the drone move. The generated footage comes from Minimax H3. Compositing, the Edit Studio UI animation and the sound design were done in After Effects.
